A: Although every person’s accident circumstance and injury are unique, you will want to make sure that your attorney has handled cases that are similar to yours.  This is like doctors who sub-specialize.  For example, the plastic surgeon who sub-specializes in rhinoplasty.  There are lots of types of personal injury claims: car accidents, truck accidents, pedestrian collisions, medical malpractice, motorcycle accidents, dog bites, slip and fall cases, etc.  And many even focus on certain types of injuries such as: wrongful death, brain injury, spine injury, birth injuries, dismemberment, etc.
